Gnomes are Taking Over!

It’s the middle of Gnomevember already! I’ve been having fun making some little gnomes. I wasn’t surprised when they decided to take over the dollhouse! Gnomes are hanging out in the living room, having a gnice chat.

This gnome is enjoying the art supplies I put on the side table. It looks like he’s created quite a masterpiece!

And, of course, there’s a gnome in the kitchen! I wonder what he’s going to cook up?

In addition to all that, I came across this adorable gnome soap dispenser and had to have it in my kitchen! It makes me smile every time I wash my hands!

The pattern I used for the gnomes is free from Stubbornly Crafty. (Her creations are so cute!) Her gnomes look a lot better coifed than my gnomes. My gnome’s beards were decidedly messy, and I ended up covered in fine beard hair to the point that I was sneezing!

Have you done anything fun or silly lately? Do you gnow any gnome puns? I’d love to hear about it!

  1. These gnomes are adorable and look right at home in their surroundings! I have to admit that I have never given gnomes much thought, but between you and Nicole, their charms are really growing on me!

    1. Hi Suzanne! Thank you for stopping by and leaving your nice comment! I’m glad to hear that gnomes are working their charms on you!

  2. Those gnomes are really active. Why did they take over the doll house? Will they help decorate for Christmas.

    1. They are very active gnomes! I guess they took over the dollhouse because they are gnaughty!! 🤣They are helping decorate for Christmas at this very moment!

  3. Thank goodness Nicole has seen this.

There are no words for the cuteness. And that soap dispenser is AMAZING. You are so, so talented my new internet friend <3

  4. I love gnomes. All gnomes, regardless of size or purpose or color. These are the best and I thank you for sharing them here. I’m going to be smiling all day about that soap dispenser dude.

    1. Thank you so much, Ally! I love all the varieties of gnomes too! The soap dispenser has added a lot of cheer to my days!

The gnomes! Ahhhhhhh! I can’t even form words! I can’t even type! I am dying over here because GNOMES in your DOLLHOUSE I can’t even.
I can’t believe how talented that gnome is, from those art supplies to the Mona Lisa! Very impressive. And it looks like they are all enjoying the old Victrola. Wonder what music they like? Also what IS that gnome cooking in the kitchen? A mushroom dish maybe?
I love that soap dispenser, it’s perfect for you!

    1. Thank you, Gnicole!😊 The mini art supplies and Mona Lisa make my heart sing! I’ll bet gnomes do enjoy mushroom dishes! Rae Cod said their beards have a ZZ Top vibe, so maybe they like ZZ Top music!? “Every girl’s crazy ’bout a sharp dressed gnome!”

  6. Loving the gnome antics, they live in beautiful place, your creative friends really do keep a tidy gnome. I had a go at making a gonk once, which is pretty much a gnome, beards are tricky but I think your gnomes beards are fabulous, very ZZ top 😊

    1. Thank you, Rae! I love your idea of ZZ Top beards! That’s too perfect! It made me love them even more! I hadn’t heard of a Gonk before, so I looked it up – and found out that I’ve actually made Gonks!!! The article I read said Gnomes are made of clay and Gonks are made of fabric. Who knew? Well, I’m in the habit of calling them gnomes, so I guess I’ll stick with that.

  7. I love the gnomes! The details in the little rooms are absolutely adorable. I particularly love the cherry wallpaper in the kitchen. ❤️

    1. Thank you, Kari! I have too much fun with my dollhouse – and now I’ve got some Christmas decorations that I can’t wait to use in it!
